Restore Deleted Data from Flash Drive
Flash drive has become indispensable part of our lives as they are used to store digital information such as music, picture, video etc. In todays world every one uses a removable device such as flash drives to store or back up the data because it gives lot of flexibility, portable and provides large storage capacity with small size. Flash drives include USB flash drives, flash memory cards etc. Flash USB drives can be used to transport the files from one computer to other computer because of its small size and they are easy to handle since they operate in a plug and play mode. Flash memory cards are mainly used in digital media devices like music players, mobile phones, gaming consoles, mobile phones, digital cameras etc. Like any other data storage devices flash drives are also prone to data loss. In such cases you may think like “Is there any way to recover deleted file from flash drive?” The answer will be certainly "Yes" there is a flash drive recovery application that helps you in retrieving deleted data from flash disks.
As the flash drive has limited amount of storage space you may tend to delete unwanted items from flash drive in order to make room for new items. Sometimes while deleting the unwanted items you may accidentally delete some essential files. Since the files deleted from flash drive will not be stored in Recycle Bin they cannot be restored later. If you do not possess the back up copy of deleted files certainly you will lose those files.
Virus infects and corrupts the flash drive data. To get rid of them you may opt for anti virus program. While scanning the files with anti virus program if the program finds that the file is severely corrupted or damaged by virus and cannot be repaired then it deletes the file from flash drive leading to loss of data. To get rid of these sometimes you may opt for formatting the entire drive this not only removes virus but wipes out all the data stored in that drive and creates new file system.
Abrupt shut down of a system due to power surge while transferring the files between system and flash drive may interrupt the file transfer and results in deletion of files from flash drive. Sometimes it may happen that you empty the Recycle Bin without checking its contents this leads to loss of mistakenly deleted files residing in Recycle Bin or Trash.
Generally mere deletion of file will not wipe out the data from flash drive memory space it only deletes the file pointer pointing to that file location. The space occupied by the file will be marked as free by the file management system to save new files. The data remains intact until the deleted file is overwritten with new data.
